The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 13th highlights Victor preparing himself for a showdown with JT, Jill getting another shocker, and Mariah learning about love. It was an action-packed episode you don’t want to miss.
Jill came back and she was beyond angry with Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack (Peter Bergman). The father and son duo tried their best to explain the reasons behind the grave digging, but the disrespect they showed to Phillip and Katherine was more than she could stand.
When Jack likened his deep sadness at learning he was not an Abbott to her own paternity nightmare, Jill crumbled. She forgave him and agreed to help. But first, they would go have a celebratory drink!
The celebratory mood was replaced by annoyance when they ran into Nikki. The Newman patriarch took the moment to rip Jill for installing a ghastly eyesore at Chancellor Park.
Jill defended her actions, but before Nikki was able to fling another round of insults, she received a phone call and rushed away. Jill was confused by the abrupt exit but delighted she didn’t have to deal with the meddling woman.
Sometime later, Jack and Jill were back at the Abbott house and he revealed more sad happenings in his life.
Across town, Victor decided to keep a step ahead of the game and accepted an invitation to meet JT (or the person impersonating him).
However, he needed Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) help. Victor made Vicky promise not to alert anyone else to their plan, and he also had specific instructions…continue reading on the next page —>
However, he needed Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) help. Victor made Vicky promise not to alert anyone else to their plan, and he also had specific instructions for her.
Reluctant about her father’s plans, Vicky tried to talk sense into him. When she realized that fell on death ears, she agreed and he left to go meet JT. But instead of keeping quiet on Victor’s plans, she called Nikki.
At home, Nick (Joshua Morrow) had it out with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) over Victor’s (Eric Braeden) villainous plot against his family.
She implored Nick to forgive Victor for attempting to take Christian away from him. If Nick didn’t allow Victor to visit Christian, that would only inflame the situation. Nick refused to back down and Nikki warned him about the repercussions of such extreme behavior.
While he loved his mother, Nick wanted nothing to do with his father. The custody battle was the last straw and he was completely done.
At the HW studio, Hilary, Devon, Mariah, and Nate discussed a major deal Neil had swooped in to get. While everyone was trying to understand the details of the contract, Nat and Hilary got into an argument.
A short time later, the argument switched between Hilary and Nate to Hilary and Lily. However, everyone stopped when Devon alerted the staff to a commotion on the rooftop. Mariah and Tessa were sent upstairs to investigate.
Interestingly, when they reach the rooftop, Kyle greeted them and the women learn they were been set up (in more ways than one).
Back at the Abbott house, after a wonderful evening with Jack, Jill learned Kyle had taken a piece of Phillip’s bone. That discovery sent her over the edge…
