The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, July 12th features tricks and lies throughout Port Charles.
Valentin Maybe Fell For It
Nina (Michelle Stafford) made sure that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) would stay far away from Wyndemere now that she and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) are hiding Peter (Wes Ramsey) on Spoon Island.
He’s now convinced West Nile virus is there and is determined to get himself checked out by Finn (Michael Easton).
While in the stables, Liesl did her best to get Peter to write his Severed Branch sequel and he somehow managed to convince her to tell her sad story of woe as a little girl living a heartbreaking life. Does he think this will get her to set him free?
Ace Detectives
Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) deduced it must have been Liesl pushing the laundry cart.
Curtis had a little talk with Nina and decided she was acting strange, especially when the subject of her aunt came up.
Taking The Bait
Over at the Q mansion, Michael (Chad Duell) talked to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about drawing up his will and leaving everything to the baby. He knew Nelle (Chloe Lanier) would overhear and she sure did eavesdrop, becoming distraught that she’d get nothing.

So, she checked New York State law to see what she’s really entitled to if a young, healthy man like Michael suddenly dies. Hmmm…
Michael heard her on the phone with a lawyer talking about this and knew his plan must be working.
Wedding Plans
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Mike (Max Gail) visited with Stella (Vernee Watson) and talked all about Michael and Nelle’s wedding.
When Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) arrived to ask Stella for help with her own wedding, she decided to keep Curtis’ ex from visiting. But, it looks like it was too late.
Jordan’s wedding plans are indeed coming together as she asked TJ (Tequan Richmond) to give her away and he said he’d be honored.
