Ashland (Richard Burgi) shocked the Abbotts when he relinquished custody of Harrison Locke. He agreed to send the boy to Italy. Why keep the boy in Genoa City to watch his daddy suffer? The men agreed to visits in Italy, New York, and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) bringing Harrison to GC a few times a year.
Y&R Recap: A Win For the Abbotts
Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) were ecstatic. As soon as Ash was gone, Kyle was all but begging Jack to bring him his son. Jack summoned up the jet, let Harrison say goodbye to the only other parent he’s ever known and packed his bags.
Young and the Restless: Devon Hamilton Began To Panic
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) visited his sister at the ChanceComm office. He is reaching his breaking point over this whole Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) mess. As if Mariah going MIA wasn’t bad enough, Chance was nowhere to be found. Devon found it rather irresponsible for Chance to choose his job over his wife.

Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was on cloud nine. She ran into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and they talked about her wedding. He expressed his concerns and she took them in stride. It was all very adult. So much so, Billy ran to the office to brag to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about his maturity.

Lily didn’t find Billy’s big boy attitude as endearing as he thought she would, though. She called him out on his continued meddling in Victoria’s life. Billy retorted and thought he had every right to have a say, especially now. As far as he was concerned, this wedding was a huge mistake.
Also bragging about being cordial was Victoria. She ran into Devon at CL and sang Lily’s praises. His sister is one amazing woman. Devon was proud of her too. Devon then went on to run into Jack at the park. He was surprised to hear Kyle was moving to Milan. Well, good luck to him. Those conversations got Devon thinking. He picked up his phone and called a friend for help.
Y&R: Marry Me, ASAP
As for Victoria, she went home to Ashland. The couple updated each other about their day. Ashland stunned Victoria when he asked her to set a wedding date. He wanted to walk down the aisle rather quickly. No sense waiting until the treatments made him too sick, right?
