Also in this episode, former married couple Ashley and Cole talked. Audra confronted Tucker about his throwing everything away for Ashley, and Kyle confronted Audra for blowing his cover with Tucker. Jack commiserated with Ashley over Tucker. Cole and Victoria got a call from Claire who insisted that she needed to confront Jordan. Sharon noticed that Adam and Nick were getting along beautifully, and later, she told Nick that she had broken up with Chance. Summer realized Chance was unhappy, so she tried to cheer him up. Adam and Sally shared a flirty lunch. Now, let’s dig deeper into what happened.
It’s Over
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Tucker (Trevor St. John) continued their meal at the Genoa City Athletic Club. She berated him over his feelings for Ashley, and she ultimately told him that she didn’t trust him enough with her career to continue working with him, so she said she was through with him.
At the Abbott mansion, Kyle (Michael Mealor) called Tucker, and Jack (Peter Bergman) listened. Kyle was stunned to learn Audra sold him out. He left and went to her room at the GCAC to confront her.

Audra tried to tell Kyle they weren’t on a drop-in basis anymore, but he insisted on talking. Soon, Tucker stopped by too, and Audra invited him in, saying “The more the merrier.”
Tucker told Kyle he had no need for him and never really had. As they argued, Tucker got ruder and ruder. Eventually, Kyle had had enough, so he punched Tucker in the face. Tucker fell, and Audra rushed to him. Tucker told Kyle the shot was “pretty good.”
Surprising Encounters
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) ran into Cole (J. Eddie Peck) on the patio at Crimson Lights. They sat and talked a bit, and she flashed back to the end of their marriage. After they caught up, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) walked in, and she rudely got Ashley to leave.

Victoria updated Cole on Claire (Hayley Erin) wanting them to stay away. As they talked, Victoria received a call from Claire, so they dropped everything to go see her. When they arrived, Claire announced she had to confront Jordan, and she asked her parents to help her set that up. Of course, she reiterated that she still didn’t want a relationship with them.
At the Abbott Mansion, Jack tried to get Ashley to open up to him about what had her so down, but she wasn’t interested in talking. Based on the few things she did say, Jack realized that Ashley still had feelings for Tucker.
Happy New Year
Sharon (Sharon Case) commented on how surprising it was to see Adam (Mark Grossman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) getting along. They explained that Victor had demanded it, so they decided to give it a try. (Refresh your memory on that here.)
Adam left, and Sharon sat to talk to Nick for a while. She updated him on her breakup with Chance and her upcoming business launch. Nick served as a big cheerleader for Sharon. As they wrapped up their discussion, Sharon let Nick know she didn’t plan to settle when it came to love next time.
Adam saw Sally (Courtney Hope) at the GCAC, and she let him know she had to change their dinner plans. The two decided to have lunch, and she shared she’d gotten three more clients. Adam was all smiles because he was…happy (for once). They flirted a bit, and Adam told her about working at Newman again. Sally appreciated seeing Adam on such a good path.
Summer (Allison Lanier) saw Chance (Conner Floyd) at the bar at Society. She realized he was upset, and she tried to get him to open up, but he didn’t. Later, she returned with a big back full of Marchetti clothes for his first days at work. Chance didn’t want to accept it, and again, Summer wanted to know what was up with him.
