The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 11, 2023, brings Jordan upping her terrorizing of Nikki.
Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Cole and Victoria convince Michael to go see Claire and consider representing her. Nikki and Victor hated that Victoria hired Michael to represent Claire. Adam confronted Nick, but his brother wasn’t forthcoming. Finally, Sally and Adam decided to give their relationship another go. Now, let’s dig deeper into what happened.
Terrifying Torture
Jordan (Colleen Zenk) spent time scheming in her hotel room. She raged against the Newmans as she came up with anonymous texts to send to Nikki. Hair askew, Jordan vowed to a photo of Eve that the Newmans would pay for what they did to her.
Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) sat in their living room, complaining about Victoria and Cole going to see Claire. They weren’t at all pleased with the development. Nikki also struggled with alcohol, as her longing looks at the bottle of alcohol showed.

At the GCAC, Cole (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) met with Michael (Christian Le Blanc), who was surprised to see Cole in town after so many years.
They told him their unlikely story, and he wasn’t all that inclined to believe Jordan had really stolen their baby, Eve. After he played Devil’s Advocate for a bit, Michael reluctantly agreed to at least talk to Claire and be her attorney if he felt it worthwhile.
Later, Michael met with Claire at the jail. He gave her his condition that she tell him the truth. Claire spilled her entire story as Michael listened thoughtfully. As she spun the tale, he seemed to believe what she said, and in the end, Claire claimed that she wanted nothing more than to get out of jail and move away from anything Newman at all.
Appalling Behavior
The next morning, Victoria went to see her parents at the ranch. She told them that she got Claire to agree to a DNA test if she and Cole hired the younger woman a lawyer to help her with her case. Victor and Nikki were appalled at their daughter’s decision to hire somebody of Michael’s caliber.
Neither Victor nor NIkki bought Claire’s story that Jordan had raised her to hate them. They didn’t want Victoria to be involved with her further. However, Victoria told her parents that she had to know for sure if Claire really was Eve.
Later, after Victor left, Nikki and Victoria continued discussing the situation. During their talk, Nikki got another text. She tried not to tell Victoria about it, but Victoria insisted. Ultimately, Nikki showed her the text and shared her suspicion that Jordan was behind it. Victoria declared that they must find Jordan ASAP. (Read about Jordan’s return here.)
One More Try
At Crimson Lights, Adam (Mark Grossman) confronted Nick (Joshua Morrow) about the Newmans being unreachable for a bit. Nick wasn’t interested in filling in his brother about the recent drama, so he claimed it was personal.
As Nick tried to leave, Sally (Courtney Hope) bumped into him. He winced, and both Sally and Adam wanted to know what was wrong, but Nick said it was nothing. After he left, Sally and Adam sat to talk. Adam talked her into trying things with them again because perhaps, this time, fate would be on their side.
