The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, February 28, sees Phyllis stun Sharon by being civil. Plus, Billy and Sally returned from Paris and caught up with Audra, and Nick and Daniel told Billy Phyllis was gone away to secret deals.
What Happened on The Young and the Restless?
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) arrived at Society, happy to be back from Paris. They spotted Audra (Zuleyka Silver), and she asked about their trip. Sally said it was magical before Billy left them to chat. Before he could go, they briefly discussed Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) calling him so often.
Audra got a call and stepped away, while Billy assured Sally everything was fine before they kissed and he left. When Audra returned, she wanted to know more about Sally’s romance. Sally shared that the trip had been wonderful, and she was content. Audra said Sally deserved happiness after being hurt by Adam (Mark Grossman).
They discussed Billy’s past with Phyllis. Sally expressed confidence that Billy wanted things to succeed. Audra then complained about her lack of job opportunities, and Sally was relieved that Billy wasn’t targeting Victor (Eric Braeden). Sally was willing to accept that Phyllis might be a necessary evil for Billy’s success. However, Audra warned her to be careful.
Audra talked about the drama involving Damian (Jermaine Rivers), Nate (Sean Dominic), and Amy (Valarie Pettiford), revealing the lies that had been told. Sally noticed Amy affected Audra, and Audra admitted that spending time with Nate and Amy made her feel like part of a family—something new for her. Audra cried, hoping for a happy ending.
Holden (Nathan Owens) showed up and said hello. Audra introduced him to Sally, and he complimented the breakfast burrito. Audra pointedly told Holden they were having a private conversation.
Sally sensed the tension and asked what was going on. Audra explained that Holden had pretended to be Damian and had a confusing history with her. She admitted they had dated, but she wanted him gone. Sally asked if she had told Nate, and Audra said she had, though she left out some details. She described Holden as exciting but ultimately dangerous, and she wanted to keep her relationship with Nate safe.

Phyllis And Sharon Work Together
Meanwhile, Phyllis and Sharon (Sharon Case) woke up after an alarm went off. Disgusted, they realized they had been cuddling in their sleep. Phyllis was surprised that her phone was off, but Sharon wasn’t. She assumed their captor had planned for everything.
Phyllis shouted at their mysterious captor, wondering if they had been there all night. Sharon struggled to function without coffee. Then, a coffee maker turned on. Laughing, Sharon remarked that everything seemed carefully planned.
Phyllis poured a cup, but Sharon warned it could be drugged. Phyllis dismissed her concerns, joking that she could pretend to see imaginary bunnies to make things weirder. Sharon hesitated but eventually took the coffee. When Phyllis offered sugar, Sharon wondered why she was suddenly being civil. Phyllis admitted they needed to work together. Sharon agreed, and they decided to put their differences aside.
An alarm rang, and a voice asked if they were ready to play. Their phones buzzed with a new riddle. As they decoded it, Phyllis reminded Sharon of past conflicts. Eventually, they laughed about their old fights and wondered if they were being forced to confront their hatred. They agreed Nick (Joshua Morrow) was the root of their rivalry.

Nick And Daniel Worry
At Crimson Lights, Nick and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) discussed their recent calls with Sharon and Phyllis. Nick thought it was strange that Sharon didn’t contact her kids directly, and Daniel noted that Phyllis only called Summer. Nick worried something was off.
Billy arrived and asked about Phyllis. He was frustrated that she hadn’t responded to his messages. Daniel claimed she was fine, but Billy was suspicious. Eventually, Daniel admitted Phyllis had left town for a secret business deal. Billy stormed off, worried about her secret meetings.
At the Genoa City Athletic Club, Nick left a message for Sharon, urging her to call because the kids—and he—wanted to hear from her.
