Zuleyka Silver’s character Audra is a magnet for drama on The Young and the Restless. Like many Genoa City residents, Audra’s problems are centered on her love life. Her current relationship with Nate is about to be tested by a big secret.
Trouble For Naudra
Audra has had bad luck in the romance department. Her relationships with Noah (ex-Rory Gibson), Tucker (ex-Trevor St. John), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have ended in disaster. But it looks like she’s found her perfect match in Nate (Sean Dominic).
Audra and Nate, aka Naudra, have become one of Y&R‘s top new couples. Thanks to Nate, Audra let go of her shrewd businesswoman demeanor and became a caring person. It’s obvious the two are head over heels in love with each other.
But their relationship faces a challenge thanks to Holden’s (Nathan Owens) arrival.
Holden is an associate of Nate’s half-brother Damian (Jermaine Rivers), who also has ties to Audra. As it turns out, Audra and Holden were former lovers, a secret she wants to keep hidden from Nate.
With Holden’s stay in Genoa City extended, problems will arise for Naudra, something Silver expected to happen. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the actress said she predicted drama for Audra and Nate.
“In soaps, the closer you get [as a couple], I figured there was some drama coming, because it was like too good to be true! And that’s just part of the genre, right? And that’s what makes it fun.”
Although there’s going to be many emotional scenes to play out, Silver and Dominic are enjoying Naudra’s latest ordeal.
“We’ve made comments to each other like, ‘Of, course!’ He’s like, ‘Of course, in a soap whenever you’re doing really well [conflict has to be introduced into a relationship]. The more they build you up, the harder the fall will be!”
