Y&R Victim’s Rights: How Connor Newman Will React To Sally’s Loss?

Faith expressed her condolences to Nick on The Young and the Restless over the loss of the baby he was planning to raise with Sally but we don’t know how Connor Newman will react. Connor was having a hard time dealing with the prospect of becoming a big brother and sharing his dad’s attention.

But we have no doubt that Connor (Judah Mackey) will not only be told on-screen, but his feelings about it will be a major topic of discussion between Adam (Mark Grossman), Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan), Billy (Jason Thompson), and even Sally (Courtney Hope). How will he react to the tragic news?

Chelsea panicked, and Billy supported her in that panic. Now that the possibility is gone, Connor should go back to his perfect self!

When he first came back to Genoa City, Connor wanted his mother and father back together, and he whined until he got his way. Then he wanted Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to be his new father figure. So he made puppy dog eyes until Rey was spending more time with Connor and Chelsea than with Sharon (Sharon Case). After that, it was anger at Johnny, and now, baby or no baby, he won’t change a bit.

However, 50% of Y&R voters understand that Connor sees himself as the center of the universe. So, naturally, he will assume that Sally and Adam lost their child because Connor wasn’t happy about getting a sister.

His parents have made him believe that everything is about him, so it won’t be his fault if he believes this is, too. Connor doesn’t want a sister? Connor doesn’t get a sister. How will the adults in his life convince Connor he isn’t to blame without breaking the news to him that, most of the time, “this isn’t about you.”
