While Elena continues to be nothing but supportive where Nate Hastings is concerned on The Young and the Restless, Nate continues to be nothing but dishonest. Sure, he’s not flat-out lying to Elena’s face…yet.

But Nate (Sean Dominic) is holding back. A lot. Like, a Victoria (Amelia Heinle) sized amount. Should Nate come clean to Elena (Brytni Sarpy)? What over 2,000 viewers told us about that:

Want to blow up your relationship, 5% of voters wonder. Then, yeah, sure, go ahead and spill your guts. Elena already isn’t thrilled with mover and shaker mogul Nate. Mover and shaker mogul cheater is going to be a deal breaker. We have no doubt about that.

Of course, if Nate wants to deliberately end things between him and Elena, this is not only the decent thing to do, but also the honest one, according to 6% of the fans. Instead of sneaking around, Nate should come clean with Elena. That’s what the old, decent Nate would have done. We have no idea what this bastard version is thinking.
Clean Young and the Restless Slate
Then again, coming clean could also help their relationship, an optimistic 19% muse. If Nate is truly sorry, and he is willing to tell all, then work on repairing his relationship, then this could actually be good for him and Elena. Also, once Elena knows she isn’t imagining things, she’ll feel more secure…and more justified in whatever she is planning to do to Victoria.

It doesn’t matter what this means for Nate when 70% of the audience is much more concerned about what Elena deserves. And she deserves to know that the man she lives with, the one who claims to love her, has kissed his boss. Twice. And not in a “we’re such good friends” sort of way. This is about her, not him.
