Both Lily Winters and Daniel Romalotti are freshly out of long-term relationships on The Young and the Restless. Lily broke up with Billy after watching him run off to play hero for Chelsea one too many times, while Daniel was dumped by Heather, and she kept his daughter, too.

They’re both vulnerable, they’re both lonely, and they’re both remembering what was…and wondering what could have been. But would a revitalized romantic relationship be good for either Lily (Christel Khalil) or Daniel (Michael Graziadei)?

Lily is still dealing with her Billy (Jason Thompson) break up, which is why 4% don’t think she is emotionally healthy enough to know whether she is ready for any relationship, much less one with a guy like Daniel, who isn’t only mourning the end of his marriage, but the “death” of his mother. And let’s not even talk about the basket case Daniel will be once Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is revived!
Young and the Restless: I’ll Be There For You
Daniel is going to need a shoulder to cry on once Phyllis returns, 8% point out, and Lily might as well be there for him. This will only bring them closer. And it will certainly be one of the stranger problems for a new couple to navigate.

Lily Winters: Too Much
No, no, no, 29% disagree. The break up with Heather (Vail Bloom) and the return of Phyllis are all reasons for Lily not to get involved with Daniel again. His life is nuts right now. She won’t know if he really wants her, or if he’s clinging to the only person who isn’t currently betraying him. That’s nothing to build a romance on.
