As soon as Jack and Kyle heard Daniel confess that Phyllis was still alive on The Young and the Restless, they wanted Michael Baldwin to storm up to the court and demand Diane’s innocence.

This is kind of unprecedented, 17% point out. Michael doesn’t have a wealth of experience in dealing with such conundrums. And neither do we. We don’t know what Michael should do, and we don’t blame him for not knowing either.

An almost equal 18%, however, are with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Shout it from the rooftops, Michael. Grab Daniel (Michael Graziadei), drag him down to Christine (Lauralee Bell), and make him tell all. Then, Michael should insist on Diane (Susan Walters) being taken off house arrest, and completely freed. You can’t charge someone with murder when the victim has been seen by her own son, walking around, free and breathing.

But 65% of the audience agrees with Michael’s take. If they’re not careful, if they don’t carefully collect all the evidence, then Jack and Kyle, and Michael, too, can make this so much worse for Diane. What if they can’t find Phyllis, and Christine thinks this was a set-up by Diane’s defense? Diane will not be helped by her son, fiancé, and attorney being put in jail right next to her. Michael knows all about bending the law. And how it works out. He’s right to go by the book on this one. The rest should have let him set the pace, and follow his lead.
