On The Young and the Restless, after months of acting strangely, and weeks of his loved ones encouraging him to get help, Chance Chancellor finally broke down and went to see a therapist.
Young and the Restless Polling
He tried to be as honest as he could be, and later attempted to be equally as honest with Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Do both those steps suggest Chance (Conner Floyd) is on the road to recovery? Here’s what over 2,000 voters think:
Sooner or Later
Almost half of you, 49%, sigh that it’s too soon to tell. One therapy session does not a healthy man make. Chance has to be willing to do the hard work. He has to be willing to dig deep down and admit all the issues which are really troubling him. And if those issues include dealing with accepting his wife’s son with another man — even if he was on-board in the first place — then that’s a can of worms Chance may be too terrified to open…or willing to share with Abby.
Young and the Restless: Trouble Right Here in Genoa City!
Are you kidding, 38% of the audience feels compelled to ask, Chance sounds more troubled than ever. Maybe therapy will one day help him deal with his issues, but, right now, he still hasn’t even faced them yet. He hasn’t even come close to the most painful part of the process, which means that if he stops now, matters can only get worse!
Easy Does It
Therapy is magic, 13% insist. All Chance needs to do is make the appointment, show up, pay his bill, and all his issues will fade away like a bad dream. He’s as good as cured already, and he and Abby can have sex in the living room, secure in the hope that they’ll never have problems again!
