Now that they’ve both hit rock bottom on The Young and the Restless, Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson finally had a grown-up conversation. And Precious Connor Newman wasn’t even at the center of it. Victor Newman was.

They both agreed that he was awful. It was the friendliest Connor’s (Judah Mackey) Mommy and Daddy had been to each other in months. Does this mean we’re looking at another reunion down the road? What almost 3,000 viewers are feeling:

Y&R: Bad News

Oh, come on, not this again, 57% of you plead. Has this ever worked? Ever? Sure, they think Connor is the greatest child who ever lived. But that hasn’t been enough to keep him from kidnapping her.

Or to keep her from framing him for murder. Sure, they once brought a half-dead alley cat back to life. And then they went back to tearing each other to shreds. This is a very, very bad idea. And not just because Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) brings out the best in Adam (Mark Grossman). While Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) only brings out the bad.

Young and the Restless: Equilibrium

We’d be open to it, 30% of voters hedge, but only if Adam and Chelsea were in a good place, which neither is at the moment. Chelsea just kissed Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) — and got blown off. And Adam finally confessed what he thought Sally wanted to hear from him — and got blown off. They are obviously both on the rebound. This is not a good time to reunite.

But it would make Connor happy, 13% remind! And there is nothing more important on this earth than making sure that Connor never suffers a moment of vague discomfort. If it will make Connor smile, no sacrifice is too big. He has to know that his happiness is more important than his parents’ right?!
