Did you see the face Lily Winters made on The Young and the Restless when Chelsea Lawson extolled the virtues of her video game idea to Daniel Romalotti? Lily thought that dumping Billy meant she didn’t have to deal with Chelsea anymore. And yet there she was again.

It’s almost like Chelsea is following Lily (Christel Khalil) around Genoa City. Does Lily have every right to resent the interloper?

Oh, please, 9% dismiss, Lily has a lot more on her mind than this wannabe. Lily knows she has nothing to fear from Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Lily is a confident, professional businesswoman. Chelsea can’t survive without a man to constantly boost her ego. She’s not even worth wasting a moment’s thought on.

Young and the Restless: Who Asked You?

Did Lily solicit Chelsea’s opinion? No, she did not, 28% of the audience would like to point out. As she does with all things — from Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to Billy (Jason Thompson) — Chelsea just butted in and made herself the center of a situation that has nothing to do with her.

Lily’s company is paying for Daniel to develop his video game idea. Lily allocated funds for a particular proposal. If it’s going to be tweaked, she should have a say in it. Chelsea should be pitching to her, not Daniel. And the final word should be Lily’s.

Lily Winters: A Young and the Restless Personal Best

Chelsea wasn’t the main reason for Lily and Billy’s breakup. Billy’s childish personality did most of the heavy lifting there. But she was certainly a contributing factor, according to 63% of you. She was the one who kept telling Billy that all of his tantrums were justified, and Lily not wanting to kiss his boo-boos made her an unfit and unsupportive partner. Lily has every right to resent Chelsea. And to not want her working for her. If Daniel insists, she can tell him to take his idea elsewhere.
