Billy Abbott’s podcast is reportedly a huge success on The Young and the Restless. Everyone is listening to it! Well, at least Allie Nguyen and Noah Newman are…and that young demographic is crucial.
Young and the Restless Polling
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is unhappy at Billy’s (Jason Thompson) triumph, and he’s convinced Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to let him start one, too. Will it also be a hit?
Y&R: Anything Is Possible
It depends on what Adam chooses to talk about, 44% of you hedge. We’re not sure what Billy’s show is about. In the beginning, it was mostly his middle-of-the-night ramblings.
Now, Allie (Kelsey Wang) and Noah (Rory Gibson) can’t agree if it’s about following your bliss, finding your bliss, or…something else. Will Adam be able to match this level of brilliance?
Young and the Restless: Enough Is Enough
Not another podcast, 36% of the audience is begging. We’re bored enough as it is listening to Billy talk to himself, we don’t need to add Adam to the list. Granted, if Adam were to go into personal details, the podcast could be interesting.
But, with our luck, he’ll spend the bulk of the hour telling us all about precious Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), how brilliant he is, how talented he is, how special. It’s bad enough to be stuck at a dinner party listening to this type of deluded parent. There is no reason to tune into a podcast about it.
Y&R: Anything Goes
If Billy’s podcast is a success, why shouldn’t Adam’s be, 20% of the fans shrug. We have no idea what’s so compelling about what Billy is putting out, so it’s likely we won’t hear anything from Adam, either.
It’ll be just like that presentation that Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) gave to the Jabot board. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) said it was brilliant, so I guess we’ll just have to believe it.
