We don’t know how it happened, but Diane Jenkins seems to be back on The Young and the Restless. As alive as she was the last time… just before she died.
The Young and the Restless Polling
While we don’t know how and why we are excited about who… Diane (Susan Walters) will reunite with first. Here’s what 2,000 viewers would like to see happen:
Y&R: Mommy’s Little Boy
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), of course, 34% of you insist. He’s the only person in Genoa City who actually missed and mourned Diane when she was presumed dead, and he’s the one who her return will affect the most. With Mealor back on contract at YR, we suspect he’ll soon even turn his back on wife Summer Newman (Hunter King) if that means getting to spend time with his mommy again.
The Young and the Restless: Man on Fire
Of course, there’s always Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), too, 30% remind. All the way back to when Diane hopped into bed with the playboy… on his wedding day to Patty Williams. They’ve loved each other, they’ve hated each other, and they’ve had a child together. They have a lot to catch up on. Including Diane’s new friend… Jack’s newfound granddaughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).
Y&R: Firebird
Back in the day, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) took the heat (pun intended) when Diane almost died in a fire in the Abbott pool house. Turned out Diane set up the whole thing. And Phyllis has been known to hold a grudge. Which is why 22% can’t wait to see what she’ll do… now that she has a second chance to get back at her one-time rival.
Young and the Restless: Murder, My Sweet
When Diane was dead, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) thought she’d killed her. (Turned out that Nikki’s ex, Deacon Sharpe… yes, the same Deacon who is now on The Bold and the Beautiful… helped in the process.) Now that Diane is alive, 14% can’t wait to hear what Nikki has to say about that!
