Is there currently a The Young and the Restless woman who doesn’t seem like she’s on the edge of a nervous breakdown? Nikki Newman and Phyllis Summers have lost their minds over Diane Jenkins. Sally Spectra has lost her spark and confidence thanks to Adam Newman’s manipulation, and Lily Winters has to juggle a feuding Nate Hastings and Devon Hamilton, alongside a pouty Billy Abbott.
Young and the Restless Polling
But Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) seems to be the truly lost soul. She’s bouncing back maniacally from mourning a man she saw as her soulmate – who, at best, tolerated her – to kissing a guy she already sexually assaulted once before. Is Chelsea headed for yet another breakdown? By which we mean, a real one, this time?
Y&R: End of her Rope
Yup, 64% of The Young and the Restless advise. Seems like Chelsea put so much effort into faking crazy to get out of an attempted murder charge, that she actually went crazy. Even going on and on about the wonder that is Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) isn’t enough to keep her tethered anymore. She’s lost it. And she isn’t coming back.
The Young and the Restless: Could Go Either Way
There’s still time for her to pull back from the edge, 20% of the audience is crossing their fingers. She’s been like this before; obsessed, delusional, self-centered, and she’s snapped out of it. Usually thanks to a man. So maybe she’ll latch onto another sucker before things go too far south.
Stay Strong
Chelsea is a girl boss, 16% of The Young and the Restless fans beg to differ. She can take anything that life throws at her, and laugh in the face of disappointment. She’s con artist, isn’t she? This is all just a con. She’s playing the poor, fragile me card until she finds a guy to fall for her. The vulnerability is Chelsea’s strength… i.e. a took for getting what she wants.
