The Young and the Restless celebrating the show’s 50th anniversary — sorry, Genoa City’s bicentennial — meant a return of some familiar faces who have been greatly missed by viewers over the last several years.

Young and the Restless Polling

It’s been so wonderful to see them — do they really have to leave again so soon? We wondered which ones should stick around even after the party is over. Here’s what over 4,000 long-time fans want to see.

Y&R: Tell All

Leanna (Barbara Crampton) once wrote a tell-all book about Victor (Eric Braeden). And he’s done a lot more horrible things since then! She should do a second volume, 6% of viewers suggest. Or focus on some other Genoa City family.

Gone But Not Young and the Restless Forgotten

We haven’t seen Chance (Conner Floyd) in a while, yet 10% still wish for his mom, Nina (Tricia Cast), to make a return appearance. She can hang out with her teen best pal, Christine (Lauralee Bell). Christine is going to need a lot of plus ones now that her husband, Paul (Doug Davidson), has also faded away.

Y&R: Law and Order

It was great to see Amanda (Mishael Morgan) swooping in to represent Lily (Christel Khalil) against Devon (Bryton James) — not to mention call him out on his entitled behavior, and 18% of you would love to see more of that, please. There are plenty of eligible men in Genoa City who would be lucky to share Amanda’s company. Why deprive them?

Young and the Restless: Father’s Day

Danny (Michael Damian) was already in town over New Year’s, and now that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) seems to have settled in, he deserves to have his dad around, 25% assert. After all, Danny can balance out Daniel’s bonkers mother and reassure his son it’s not him — it’s Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

Who’s the Boss

But the one you’ve really missed is Mamie (Veronica Redd), 41% cheer. Just watching her spar with Jill (Jess Walton) again gave you the warm fuzzies. Once, Mamie was just the maid. But now she’s a power player in her own right. Let the real fireworks begin!
