There were a few months there on The Young and the Restless, when every other word out of Tessa Porter’s mouth was, “Crystal, Crystal, Crystal.” All she cared about was finding her missing sister, and she didn’t back down until Mariah Copeland impersonated the late Cassie Newman in order to gaslight her adoptive mother, Alice, who had become a white slaver.

So, yeah, all that happened. But then Crystal was freed and promptly moved out of town, into witness protection. Her sister, who had been unable to live without her up to that point, shrugged and said, “Bye!”

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) arranged for Crystal to come to Tessa and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) wedding before he died. Should Crystal stick around afterward? Almost 6,000 fans have a suggestion.

Y&R Storyline Purposes

Anyone can stick around, 37% insist, as long as they have something interesting to do. No one in Genoa City currently has anything interesting to do. So if Crystal can break that streak, we’d be delighted to have her!

The Young and the Restless Trouble Maker

It was almost a tie, as 36% went in the exact opposite direction and insisted that Crystal is trouble. She almost got everyone who wanted to rescue her killed last time, and if the people who were after her then are still after her now, then Tessa and Mariah most definitely don’t need that in all of their lives.

Leftovers on Y&R

Maybe Crystal could hook up with Noah Newman, 27% of you suggest. It would get him to stop whining, it would get him to stop pining for Tessa, and it would put her under the protection of the only family that always wins, no matter who their opponents are. Even white slavers will run in fear from a single missive, “You got that” uttered from beneath Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mustache.
