Does it feel like Genoa City has become a dangerous place to live these days on Young and the Restless? There doesn’t seem to be a day without Diane Jenkins receiving a threat of impending doom or Ashland Locke isn’t told to get out of town or else.
Young and the Restless Polling
It’s not like they’re the only ones who seem to get threatened and let’s face it — both of them can give as good as they get. Live and let live isn’t a motto embraced by the denizens of Genoa City — but should it be? Soap Hub asked Y&R fans if characters should be more careful tossing threats around.
Crime Pays in Genoa City
Needless to say, 56% of you were quick to point out that there’s no need for anyone to watch it because it’s not like anyone ever pays for anything, right? So why should Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) worry about threatening someone? They know Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) or Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) will get them off.
Young and the Restless: Word To The Wise
For 30% of you, it’s become way too much. Yes, poor Ashland (Robert Newman) and Diane (Susan Walters) have to deal with threats every single day, and it’s become too much to bear. How about the likes of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) tone down the rhetoric just a tad, okay?
Y&R: More Flies With Honey
For the remaining 14%, you live by the old adage, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. And while you enjoy all the witty retorts your favorites toss around willy-nilly, you’d like to see them practice this once in a while.
