Should Nick Help Victor With Ashland on The Young and the Restless?

On The Young and the Restless, Victor Newman gave the fans whiplash as he went from forcing Billy Abbott to deny a story he was about to publish exposing Ashland Locke’s lifetime of misdeeds in the name of protecting Victoria Newman to deciding he was going to expose his new son-in-law himself.

Victor (Eric Braeden) turned to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for help, his second-born son was less than enthused. Should Victor join forces with Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) to get the job done, instead?

Family First

Nick should be honored by the opportunity, 47% of The Young and the Restless voters enthuse. It’s his chance to protect his sister, show up Adam, and, most importantly, make Victor happy. How can he possibly say no? It should be the main priority in this life! His own children can just take a back seat. This is his father he’s being permitted to aid and abet! Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), and poor, unseen Christian can wait for their turns.

The Young and the Restless: I Told You

Considering how Victor and Adam dismissed Nick in Italy when he was trying to sound the alarm about Ashland (Robert Newman), 40% of the audience is urging Nick to turn his back on an entreaty that now might come his way. Victor had the chance to listen to his firstborn, and he insisted he knew best. Well then, you keep doing you, Victor. Nick will stick to his guns and retain at least a fraction of his dignity. Maybe set a good example for baby brother Adam along the way.

Secret Lives

Nick obviously values his relationship with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) more than Victor does, and 13% will only endorse his working with Victor if Nick’s sister never learns of the role he played in blowing up her marriage…and her life.
