Victoria Newman was so excited to have little brother Nicholas Newman back working alongside her at Daddy’s company on The Young and the Restless. Until, that is, Little Brother had the audacity to disagree with her. It was bad enough when he was standing up for Sally Spectra, which Victoria knew he was only doing because he had a thing for the little social climber, but now Nick is also against Victoria’s hand-picked replacement for Sally – Dr. Nate Hastings. Which sibling is in the right here?
Young and the Restless Polling: Mansplaining
Of course, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is right, 85% of you voted. And not because he’s involved with Sally (Courtney Hope), but because if Nate (Sean Dominic) was willing to betray his own family when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) dangled a new, shiny trinket in front of him, then it’s almost dollars to donuts that he’ll betray the Newmans the minute he doesn’t feel adequately adored by Victoria (Amelia Heinle). It’s what happened last time. It’s what will happen again. The only reason Victoria doesn’t see that is because it would make her wrong. And, like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Victoria honestly can’t fathom being wrong.
Y&R: Who Knows
Not only is 12% of the audience in the dark here, but we suspect so is Nate. We’re pretty sure he didn’t come to Newman Enterprises intending to ultimately betray them. But we’re equally convinced that’s not the mindset he came to Chancellor-Winters with, either. Nick has so little business experience that he doesn’t have an adequate track record. He doesn’t know what he might do down the line. And neither do we.

Only 3% trust Victoria’s judgment. If she says Nate can be trusted, then Nate can be trusted. Nick hasn’t worked in a corporation for years. He’s been kicking around in the non-profit sector. Sure, there, everyone is only out for themselves. Corporate America is all about loyalty, respect, and honesty!
