Young and the Restless Texting Jack Abbott
Jack Abbott is so bored these days on The Young and the Restless that he has time to wonder about random texts that are coming in without a sender’s name. They say they want to talk to him but won’t say why or about what.
Most people would just block and move on. But since this is shaping up to be a major mystery, the question becomes, who is behind the texts? Almost 4,000 voters weighed in:
Even if you’ve been watching Y&R for 20 years, you probably don’t know that Jack (Peter Bergman) has a son other than Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Keemo Volien Abbott is the result of an affair Jack had while serving in Vietnam.
He grew up as a poor street kid, then reunited with his parents in Genoa City, hung around for a while, had a few bad relationships, then disappeared, never to be mentioned again. Well, now 56% of you think it’s time to mention him. And find out why he’s suddenly texting his dad. And not identifying himself.
We always thought Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) knew more about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) than she was letting on. Now, 34% of the audience are gambling that she’s ready to trade what she knows…for a Get Out of Jail Free card. Not to mention access to her son.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is back on The Bold and the Beautiful. And 7% would like her back on Y&R. She probably has some other child that she needs Genoa City’s Jack to know about. She has so many!
And then there are the 3% who think it’s Marco, the lookalike Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hired to impersonate Jack…including being with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And here we thought all of Genoa City was pretending that never actually happened.
