Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson popped back into The Young and the Restless in time to celebrate Lily Winters merging the company Jill gave her to run with the one her father and brother started.
Young and the Restless Polling
It was a ceremonial role only, Jill doesn’t actually meddle in day-to-day business affairs. But should she stick around Genoa City on a more permanent basis?
Y&R Moving Day
Yes, yes, yes, and yes again, 44% of the audience cheers. It’s been so lonely without Jill (Jess Walton) around. There’s no one to trade barbs with Esther Valentine (Kate Linder). There’s no one to nag Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to stick to the straight and narrow. There is no one to remember the good old days with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And there is no one to be fabulous while doing it. Jill has lots of unfinished business in town. She should come back quickly…and finish it.
Someone to Love on The Young and the Restless
Only if The Powers That Be promise Jill a worthy love interest, 35% of you, stipulate. She is a beautiful, vibrant, fun woman, and to see her pining around alone or, worst, after the ex-husband who done her wrong, isn’t anybody’s idea of a good time. If Esther can snag a man online, then Jill should have a shot at it, as well. She never struck us as somebody who’d just fade away into her great-grandma role, even though that’s who Dominic is to her, technically.
Genoa City Visiting Day
An every once in a while appearance by Jill is fine by us, 21% of voters shrug. She should be used on an as-needed basis. Business stuff, mother stuff, nagging Esther stuff, nobody needs to see that every day. Jill is like a spice. She’s excellent in small doses and as an addition to the main course. She shouldn’t be the entire meal.
