Everyone keeps asking Victoria Newman Locke if she’s really over Ashland Locke on The Young and the Restless. And Victoria keeps telling everyone that she totes is, why do they keep harping on it? But is our heroine just whistling past a graveyard?

Young and the Restless: You’ll Be Back, Wait and See

Oh, please, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is trying to convince herself most of all, 56% of you insist. The lady doth protest too much and all that. The fact is, Victoria fell for Ashland (Robert Newman) harder than she ever had for anyone in her life. And that includes Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Victoria didn’t love Billy as much as she loved Ashland…and she married him how many times?

Y&R: From a Distance

A smaller 41% agrees that Victoria is still in love with Ashland, but you don’t see her ever taking him back. He hurt her too much, and she’ll never be able to trust him again. But that’s not the same thing as all of her positive feelings disappearing.

Ashland brought Victoria out of her funk, he made her feel wanted and desired again. She’ll remember that every time she looks at him. Even as she starts to forget what came afterward.

Young and the Restless: Dead To Me

Only 3% are confident that Victoria will never go near Ashland again — unless it’s to stick a knife in his back…or aim a bullet at his front. The greatest anger comes from the greatest love, and it’s because you do believe she fell hard for the liar that you know she will never, ever get over the hurt Ashland caused her.

On the other hand, if this was just a fling, then whatever inkling of love she felt died the moment he betrayed her. So, either way, the point is, those two are dunzo.
