On The Young and the Restless, Victor Newman just cannot understand how Victoria Newman could go back to Ashland Locke, or what she could possibly be thinking. Victor believes he’s the only chess player in town.
Young and the Restless Polling
He believes he’s the only one who can plan multiple steps ahead while playing his cards close to the vest. But could Victoria (Amelia Heinle) be taking a page from Daddy’s book and using Ashland (Robert Newman) for her own reasons? What almost 4,000 told us:
Y&R: I Did It My Way
Victoria wants to get back at Ashland as much as her father does, 64% feel certain. But she wants to do it her way. She has a plan, and it involves letting Ashland think she is completely on his side. She will eventually pull the rug out from under him. But it will be on her terms.
Young and the Restless: Test Pattern
It’s all a test, 29% of the audience predicts. Victoria is testing Ashland. She wants to believe that he’s turned over a new leaf, that he loves her as much as he claims, and that he wants to make a life together, away from the grudges and lies of Genoa City.
But Victoria has already had her heart broken once. She’s not about to put it at risk again unless Ashland can demonstrate his good intentions. And, in order to do that, he has to make a few key decisions.
Y&R: Forgive and Forget
Only 7% are taking Victoria at her word and, like Ashland, buying her claims that she has gotten past that little lying about who you are and what you want and why you’re saying I Do and, oh, yeah, the terminal illness part. If Victoria can wipe all that away with the wave of a hand, why can’t her family? And, until they’re on board, Victoria will be in New York with her man, plotting against them.
