Chelsea Lawson decided to move on from Adam Newman by fixating on Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless. But then Rey had the audacity to die, leaving Chelsea to seethe about why Adam isn’t dropping new love, Sally Spectra, like a hot potato to run to her side and make sure precious Connor Newman isn’t feeling an iota of discomfort.
The Young and the Restless Polling
Now that Sally (Courtney Hope) has made herself an enemy of Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) in such a manner, should Chelsea go ahead and destroy the younger woman? What almost 3,000 told us about this potential triangle:
Y&R Yawn
It’s hard to think of a more boring storyline for The Young and the Restless, 61% of you are rubbing your eyes and popping caffeine pills. We’ve already seen Chelsea obsessing over Adam’s (Mark Grossman) feelings for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and no one wants to see that again.
Skip The Young and the Restless Middle Woman
Chelsea shouldn’t bother with Sally, 19% dismiss. She’s not worth Chelsea’s time. If Chelsea wants Adam, she should go straight after Adam, and forget about the woman he currently thinks he has feelings for. Chelsea just needs to remind him that nothing is more important than Connor (Judah Mackey). That’ll nip the risk of him having feelings for anyone else in the bud.
Make It Fun
A much smaller 12% of the audience is open to the story — as long as it’s interesting. The last time Chelsea had a grudge, she nearly killed Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and almost sent Adam to prison. That was kind of fun.

Does Chelsea still have any of that poison she used on Rey lying around, 8% wonder? If she does, she might want to douse Sally’s breakfast. She knows it works. And who would suspect Chelsea of going back to her old ways? It would be stupid to use the same poison on Sally as she did on Rey…which will leave Chelsea in the clear.
