Abby and Devon are expecting a baby together on The Young and the Restless! Of course, Mariah is the one who is actually pregnant. And Abby and Chance are planning to raise it. Devon just plans to hang around and play favorite uncle.
But with Chance (Donny Boaz) out of town, and Abby (Melissa Ordway) inevitably feeling left out of the miraculous birth experience (morning sickness and labor is totes awesome!), will she find herself drifting towards the other biological parent? What over 3,000 fans would like to see happen:
Abby and Devon (Bryton James) are great friends, and a winning 78% of the audience needs them to stay that way. Even if Chance never comes back and Devon is forced to step up and play Daddy, he and Abby should just remain co-parents, nothing more. Doesn’t Devon have his hands full with Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy)? He does not need to add a Baby Mama to the proceedings.
We love complications, 13% of you cheer. And this is exactly the kind of soapy goodness we are here for. Abby is already missing Chance – she won’t like feeling lonely for long. And Devon may decide that Elena is too indecisive, and Amanda is too awesome for him. He’ll start looking around again. And whom should he see, but the mother of his child…
If there is a complication like that, then 9% would like Chance to come back to Genoa City and shut it down. Of course, if Abby goes back to Chance, Devon could then sue for custody of his baby as a way to win Abby back. See what we mean about soapy goodness?
