The Young and the Restless actor Rory Gibson, who plays Noah Newman, is a devoted dog daddy. Now, sadly, the performer shares news that his beloved dog, Clementine, has passed away.
“My Love,” Gibson began his Instagram post. “You stole my heart the moment I saw you. When I think back on my happiest moments, you were there. The pain of losing you is unrelenting. You’re one of a kind. You’re my Girl. You mean the world to me. I love you Clementine. I’ll always love you.
“I won’t try to understand the cruelties of this world,” Gibson continued. “All I can do is appreciate the fact that I had such precious love in my life, to cause me such heartache.”
In the comments section of his post, Gibson went on to share further information about Clementine and what led to her death. “Clementine passed due to heart disease/failure,” he explained, “she was diagnosed about a month ago. She was born with several birth abnormalities. The vet said this was likely genetic.”
Gibson received several supportive messages on his post from Y&R castmates. “I’m so sorry,” Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) wrote. “Sending hugs.” Added Beth Maitland (Traci): “Bless your broken heart honey. I’m so sorry.”
“I’m so sorry…My heart is breaking for you both,” empathized Courtney Hope (Sally). Bryton James (Devon) wrote: “So incredibly sorry man.” Tracey Bregman (Lauren) added: “Oh honey. I’m so sorry. My heart breaks for you all. Sending so much love.”
“My condolences, good brother,” wrote Sean Dominic (Nate). Instagram follower @lesliecaplan29 wrote: “I’m so very sorry about your beautiful girl. Losing a beloved 4-legged family member is a very difficult time to go through. May her memories give you comfort, and may daddy’s girl rest among the stars 🌟.”
Soap Hub joins Gibson’s loved ones and daytime pals in sending him sincere condolences at this difficult time.
