Y&R stars Eric Braeden, Michelle Stafford, Christian Le Blanc, Lauralee Bell, Bryton James, Mishael Morgan, Sean Dominic, and Conner Floyd got to play Santa’s Elves at The Salvation Army in conjunction with the NAACP in Inglewood, California.
Y&R Stars Give Back
Phyllis Summers actress Michelle Stafford took to Instagram to reveal that she and several of her Y&R co-stars raised money to help buy toys for children who may otherwise not get gifts for Christmas. She posted while on her way to Big Lots to buy up lots of presents to give.
The actress also showed off herself and her co-stars at the Culver City Big Lots buying all manner of toys. They wore festive masks and hats to make their purchases. Some of the toys they purchased included Disney Princesses, WWE toys, unicorn stuffed animals, and more. They stretched their dollars even further because Big Lots gave them a discount since the toys were for charity.
In the now-deleted post, which had some audio problems, Stafford mentioned that she and Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin) did the same thing last year, raising $4,000 to buy toys. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions last year, other actors couldn’t gather to give out the presents. Although the soap still has some restrictions, several of the show’s stars were able to present the gifts this year.
Eric Braeden Shares The Love
Victor Newman actor Eric Braeden also showcased the charitable event on social media. He included a picture of himself posing with his Y&R castmates and others at the location. For the actor, who grew up in Germany during WWII, the chance to give back meant even more. He captioned the photo, “At the Salvation Army with some of my colleagues to bring toys to kids! Hopefully, it’ll bring a big smile to them! I remember how much it meant to us during the war!” You can check out the photo he included with his post below.
The Salvation Army in Inglewood also shared several photographs of the Y&R cast members alongside the piles of toys they donated. The post revealed that the group gave $6,000 worth of toys. You can check out the fun images featuring some of your favorite Y&R stars in the post below.
