The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan, who portrays Amanda Sinclair on the soap, revealed the news that she experienced a devastating family loss recently and is hoping that people will be able to help.
Morgan shared the horrible news via Twitter and Instagram that her brother-in-law and his family died. “On Monday morning my husband’s [Navid Ali] only brother, perished with his wife and 3 kids in a tragic house fire,” she wrote next to several pictures she shared of them. “I am still in absolute disbelief. I literally have no words right now. My sister-in-law has set up a GoFundMe. Please pray for my family & donate if you are able.
“Please hold your loved ones tight,” Morgan continued. “Appreciate every moment and remember another day is never guaranteed. Rest in power Nazir, Raven, Alia, Jayden & Layla. Spread your wings beautiful angels 🤍🤍🤍. #rip #Alifamily #tragic #nowords #heartbroken.”
According to the family’s GoFundMe, the house fire happened in Brampton, Ontario, claiming the lives of Nazir Ali, Nawab Ali, and their three children. Mishael Morgan’s Y&R co-stars responded to her post, offering their condolences.
“I am so sorry Mishael 😰 There are no words. Sending you and your family so much love ❤️,” wrote Chelsea Lawson actress Melissa Claire Egan.
“Sending so much love & prayers!” Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) replied. Elena Dawson actress Brytni Sarpy wrote, “sending every ounce of love and healing your way @mishaelmorgan @nav_as_is.”
“Unfathomable. I’m so sorry for you all,” Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) replied.
“Sending so much love. We are all here praying for you and your family 💕” Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell Fisher) expressed.
“Oh, my beloved TV daughter,” Ptosha Storey (Naya Benedict) penned. “My heart breaks for you and your family. Please know I am praying for your continued strength and healing during this painful season. 💔🙏🏾💕”
