Y&R Star Camryn Grimes Answers Your Burning Questions

Mariah is rightfully anxious on The Young and the Restless as she’s being kept against her will. Her portrayer, Camryn Grimes, recently shared with her followers that she had some time to kill and opened her feed up to questions from the show’s fans. Soap Hub has the highlights!

@jbubbles18 asked Grimes what her favorite wardrobe is on Y&R? “The pregnancy belly lol,” the actress replied.  @AUTigers4Ever wants to know how far ahead Y&R shoots its scenes before they air.  “We shoot about a month in advance,” Grimes replied. As Y&R fans recall, Camryn Grimes joined the show as Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) daughter Cassie in 1997.

“Are you guys still under strict covid guidelines? 6 feet apart/testing still,” queried @TIFFANYCASSARI1. “Yep, a year later we have the same protocols since we starting shooting again,” Grimes revealed.  @AUTigers4Ever wants to know if being pregnant on-screen has amplified Grimes’s own motherly instincts? “Oh they’ve been alive and kicking for a long time haha,” Grimes responded.

Grimes Talks Wandavision

@Ginatognoni1fan wants to know if Grimes enjoys working more with Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor) as Mariah is carrying the baby Abby will raise and call her child. “YES, one of the best parts of this storyline,” Camryn Grimes replied.

Inquiries to the actress weren’t just restricted to Y&R. “I know everyone is going to ask you about #YR stuff but not me cause I want to know your thoughts about #Wandavision and #Loki if you saw the series… by the way hope all is well,” posted @Candypooh. Grimes replied, “Loved both, completely obsessed.”
