Victoria Rowell, who portrayed Drucilla Barber Winters on The Young and the Restless from 1990 to 2007, revealed an exciting new project she’s working on, and in it, she wears more than one hat.

Victoria Rowell Does Double-Duty

Rowell took to Twitter to show off two of the women she’s directing in TV One and Hillionaire Production’s Lineage.

“Doing double duty directing talented TV daughters [Dawn Halfkenny] [Sheléa] in ‘LINEAGE’ on gorgeous Gulfport coast #MississippiFilmOffice,” read Rowell’s caption.

Previously, Rowell gave more details about the movie in another tweet featuring actors who portray a father and daughter relationship in the film — Richard Brooks Jr. and Halfkenny.

“Directing [Richard Brooks Jr.] [Dawn Halfkenny] as dad/daughter duo crush it in ⁦’LINEAGE’ movie #wealth #drama #family #betrayal #Mississippi #HillionaireProductions,” she wrote alongside a photo of the two.

In the project, Rowell also got the opportunity to direct a group of bikers. She explained a bit more on Twitter, writing, “Directing legendary bikers in #LINEAGE for @tvonetv [Hillionaire Productions] on the gorgeous coast of #Mississippi #harleydavidson #motorcycle #tvone.”

Victoria Rowell fans seemed excited about the upcoming project for the actress, but a few wondered if she would ever return to her daytime role of Dru.

“Wonderful. But is there any I mean any hope for you to return to @YandR_CBS @ericbraeden? We needs you, Lily [Winters, Christel Khalil] needs you, Sharon [Rosales, Sharon Case] needs you,” one concerned soap opera fan wrote.

So far, Rowell hasn’t replied. The actress returned to Y&R as herself during the 2019 tribute to the late Kristoff St. John, who portrayed her on-screen husband, Neil Winters. Look for more details about this project coming soon. This is one of several projects the actor-director is involved in, and fans can see her in the CBS drama Good Sam.
