Y&R Alum Michael Damian Reveals Exciting New Film With Lindsay Lohan

The Young and the Restless alum Michael Damian announced an exciting new project he has coming up with Netflix and “superstar” Lindsay Lohan, who got her start on NBC’s now-defunct soap opera Another World.

Michael Damian Teams Up With Lindsay Lohan

The former Danny Romalotti actor took to Twitter to announce his exciting news. He shared an article from Deadline about the movie Irish Wish. “Super excited to be working again with superstar 🌟 [Lindsay Lohan] & [Netflix] in my homeland of #Ireland making the new #romcom Irish Wish !! ☘️🎥💕”

The new film will hit Netflix on November 10, and it follows a character named Maddie. When the love of Maddie’s life becomes engaged to her best friend, she decides to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland despite her feelings. Of course, when Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, she wakes up in the place of the bride-to-be, only to find that her soulmate was somebody other than the groom-to-be.

Michael Damian, along with Kirsten Hansen, Ron Oliver, and his wife, Janeen Damian, wrote the screenplay. He’ll also serve as a producer alongside Brad Krevoy. This isn’t the former daytime star’s first time working with Lindsay Lohan. Their previous movie was called Falling For Christmas, which is also on Netflix.

Fans seemed excited for the upcoming romantic comedy, but at least a few also mentioned their desire to see Damian reprise the role of Danny on Y&R sometime soon. One replied, “she is gorgeous, and you are both lucky to work with each other. Enjoy your work family, and hurry back to Genoa City.” Of course, there’s no word on if or when Danny might come back to town but it would be fun to see him shake up the lives of several ladies he worked with previously.
