Robert Adamson, who portrayed Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless from 2012 to 2020, shared an exciting update about his recent hard work.
Robert Adamson Makes a Change
The former Y&R actor took to Instagram in a rare share for him. In the post, Adamson wore a pair of lowrise jeans without a shirt, showcasing his muscular abs and ripped chest. He admitted that he usually doesn’t post pictures like that in the caption. However, he made an exception in order to show off all the changes he’d made.
“It’s been a tough year. Physically, mentally, socially, professionally. I’ve never let myself go as much as I have in the last year and a half. First, it started mentally, then the physical deterioration began,” the former soap star admitted. “I cut myself off from friends and family, and like many of us, accepted my fate, as the new normal took hold.”
The excellent news for Adamson, and others who find themselves in a similar situation, is that it’s never too late to change paths, and that’s precisely what the actor did. “Start slow. Don’t force it. Give yourself a little grace. Try to get a little sunshine, and surround yourself with people that value your health and your growth more than those who want to commiserate in misery,” he advised.
Ultimately, for Adamson, all the small changes at the beginning combined with a lot of consistent hard work paid off, and he found himself back in great physical and mental shape after experiencing the first part of the pandemic.
Y&R Stars Encourage Their Former Co-star
Robert Adamson received lots of encouragement from current and former Y&R stars on his post. Former onscreen half-sister Hunter King (Summer Newman) shared a simple line of clapping emojis in support of his big changes. In addition, Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin) and Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin) encouraged Adamson with hearts.
Other friends and fans also responded, praising the actor’s hard work. You can check out Adamson’s changes and read his entire caption in the post below.
