Phyllis will do anything to get success, money, and power. But is it worth it in the end? It’s bad enough that Phyllis is already down and out, with no one to look out for her.

Fans are intrigued by this plot. On the soap message boards, they’re wondering who Phyllis will remain loyal to. The original poster asked, “So, will she go with Cane and his plans or honor her loyalty and love to Nick? Hmmm, what say, you?” This was a difficult question for fans to answer.
