What Happened to Lauren on Young and the Restless?

Lauren Fenmore is one of the vets on The Young and the Restless. She also appeared on the sister soap The Bold and the Beautiful. However, she hasn’t been on the canvas as much as she has in the past. Is she still living in Genoa City?

Early Part of 2024

It’s time to travel back to earlier this year. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) was a fixture on the daytime show when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) struggled with her sobriety. However, she couldn’t help her all by herself, so she suggested that Jack (Peter Bergman) become Nikki’s new sponsor. 

Lauren also had to step back from Fenmore temporarily. She filled in for Nikki as Newman Media’s COO. As Nikki went to rehab, Lauren returned to B&B in April. She met with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). 

She discussed her history with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), who nearly escaped death. As soap fans already know, the two ladies have a long history. Since then, Lauren has been absent from both soaps.

Where Did She Go?

Y&R fans want to know what happened to Lauren. It’s as if her character fell off the canvas. What hasn’t also helped is that both of her sons were pushed off the show over the years.

Lauren only appears when she’s speaking to her husband, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). He often shows up to handle the Newman’s messy legal affairs. However, Lauren couldn’t be bothered with that. She’s off living her best life at Society and the GC Hotel. 

Bergman chose to make guest appearances on the show. Meanwhile, LeBlanc is still on contract with Y&R. Bergman just shared an update on Instagram that she traveled to Barcelona and Paris. It looks like Lauren isn’t the only one who’s living life.
