Tessa and Daniel’s friendship recently flourished on The Young and the Restless. Tessa is someone that Daniel can turn to, even in dark times. But the shocking twist in this murder mystery could bond them and bring them closer together.
Daniel Takes Control
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) became friends after she started working at Society. She serves him a drink and lends an ear, which Daniel will need after the murder of his love, Heather (Vail Bloom).
He was named as the number one suspect. On the Friday, November 1st episode, Tessa noticed Daniel had too much to drink. But that didn’t stop him from having another. What’s the worst thing that could happen?
Daniel also had a breakthrough. He realized that he would take this murder mystery into his own hands. Tessa hoped Daniel had an actual plan and wouldn’t go off the rails. After all, he wasn’t in his sound mind at that moment.

Just Friends?
Tessa is concerned about Daniel. Is it because he’s a good friend to her? Or is it because she’s attracted to him? Tessa’s sexuality doesn’t need to be labeled. However, her character dated Noah (Rory Gibson) in the past.
If Daniel’s investigation points to Sharon (Sharon Case), Tessa’s relationship with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) could be affected. The couple needs a bit of a shakeup. They went from the golden couple of Y&R to a pair of sidelined characters. (See what Mariah and Tessa have been up to on Y&R.)
Tessa and Mariah could use some drama. Daniel would be the perfect person to provide that. Arguably, an affair between Tessa and Daniel would be disappointing for the LGBTQ couple that made strides on the show.
But how would Mariah feel about her mom’s role in Heather’s murder? Who will Tessa side with? The outcome of this investigation will affect many characters in the coming weeks.
