The Twist Mark Grossman Thinks Would End Sally And Adam On Young and the Restless

Sally is furious at Adam after he finally confessed the truth about cheating with Chelsea on The Young and the Restless. It seems highly unlikely that she will forgive him for his indiscretion. However, there’s one thing that Adam’s portrayer, Mark Grossman, thinks would ensure the end of “Ally” for good.

End Of The Road

Grossman recently spoke with Soaps about the entanglement between Sally (Courtney Hope — find out how Sally scared her), Adam, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Billy (Jason Thompson). As always, when characters hook up, there’s the potential for pregnancy, and that could throw a huge wrench in things for both couples.

“If it turned out she was pregnant from their encounter, for lack of a better word, that would be interesting,” he said. “It’s always in the back of Adam’s mind, you know, that he wants to build a happy family. He would want to try and put his family back together.”

Grossman felt that Adam would welcome another child. He was thrilled when Sally was pregnant with Ava Hope, but sadly, she lost the baby, which has weighed heavily on both Adam and Sally. Recently, Sally was unhappy that Adam had forgotten the anniversary of Ava’s death, and she spent that time alone. Of course, Adam was away with Chelsea then, and they were helping Connor (Judah Mackey — who gave more details about Connor’s OCD).

Family Ties

“Losing Ava had a huge impact on him, so while Chelsea getting pregnant wouldn’t exactly be ideal, he would probably see it as a good thing,” Grossman said. Of course, it absolutely would not be ideal for Sally or Billy. While it looks like Billy may be on the road to forgiving Chelsea, it would very likely put the nail in the coffin for Sally and Adam. Sally doesn’t seem like she’d be interested in sticking by Adam while he and Chelsea had a new baby.
