When The Young and the Restless aired its last original episodes before going on hiatus and showing reruns due to the coronavirus, Chloe had gone into false labor. In real-life, her portrayer Elizabeth Hendrickson has given birth. And now, the new mama is back at work!

Elizabeth Hendrickson: Working Mom

“Second day back to work at @youngandrestlesscbs,” Hendrickson posted on Instagram. “Getting ready from home and somehow momming it. #levelup #momlife #momsofinstagram #mom #babygirl #youngandrestless #theyoungandtherestless”

You can see in the post a video of Hendrickson and her adorable daughter, Josephine James, who was born on March 27, 2020, before and after she’s ready for work. (We think both ladies look great in both setups!)

Hendrickson’s pal, Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden, General Hospital; ex-Greenlee, All My Children) responded to the post with a heartfelt: “Oh my God. Her little smile. ❤️”

“You look camera-ready with your hair in the towel!” posted @kelleyparadis. “Love your energy and the levity and light that Chloe brings to the show. So grateful you guys are making episodes, even though it is so hard for cast and crew to manage it. This year has been so hard, and having the show helps bring ‘normal’ and even a little ‘happy.’ Thank you! 🙌

Hendrickson responded: “@kelleyparadis so glad we’re helping you feel as ‘normal’ as possible. Wild times!!! Thanks for watching 💕.”

While Elizabeth Hendrickson has had a daughter in real-life, viewers know that Chloe is set to give birth to a son. While dad Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is a loving dad to their daughter, Bella, the news that he was going to become a father to a son affected him in a different way due in no small part to the abuse Kevin received from his own pop, the abusive Tom (played by the late Roscoe Born). The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
