Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on The Young and the Restless.
Tattletale
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) quickly decided that they were never going to submit to Adam’s (Mark Grossman) blackmail demands, and Victoria made a beeline for Victor (Eric Braeden) to tell him exactly what his golden boy was up to.
Victor found himself rather amused by Adam’s actions, and his youngest son claimed that it was all a ruse to see how far his siblings would go to get him out of the picture.
Saying Goodbye
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) flew home to assist her siblings in finding their mother a care facility, but Dina (Marla Adams) threw a wrench into the proceedings by slipping out of the house and heading to Chancellor Park.
There, she was entranced by Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) singing, and a conversation with the young woman helped Dina find the strength to accept her fate. She and Jack (Peter Bergman) then set off for her new home.
Final Bequests
After weeks of avoiding the inevitable, Devon (Bryton James) finally consented to the reading of his father’s will.
As a part of his final request, Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) myriad friends and family gathered together and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) read out each bequest that was accompanied by beautiful personal messages from Neil.
Compromise
In an effort to get Adam out their lives, Victoria offered him a fair compromise. His demand for $500 million is far too grand, but she is willing and able to get him $50 million.
And if he leaves …continue reading on the next page —>
And if he leaves Christian with Nicholas, Victoria offered up Chelsea’s last known phone number. Adam asked Sharon (Sharon Case) to contact Chelsea as he felt the news of his resurrection would be better delivered by her and Sharon agreed.
Knock-off
Ashley clued Jack in about “Jolie Chic Vision” and the angered Abbott accused his sister of trying to sabotage him and Jabot but Ashley insisted she had nothing to do with the knock-off brand.
Jack and Kyle (Michael Mealor) investigated and learned that the website was created by someone in Genoa City!
Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) was able to deduce that Phyliss (Gina Tognoni) was behind the scheme and confronted her bestie.
She railed at Phyliss for putting Jabot and Fenmore’s in the line of fire and gave her 12 hours to shut the website down for good warning that failure to do so would result in drastic action being taken.
