Woman on the Verge…
An inebriated Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was chauffeured to Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) room at the Salem Inn raring for another confrontation but the blunt businesswoman stopped her in her tracks.

Kate insisted that Maggie take responsibility for flinging herself off the sober wagon and to seek absolution from Nicole (Arianne Zucker) — her accusations that Maggie was responsible for Holly’s death is what drove her to drink after all.

Maggie took Kate’s advice and knocked on Nicole’s door only to be greeted by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)! A flustered Kristen put on her Nicole mask and re-greeted Maggie whom she threw out for being drunk and “seeing things.”

Where There’s Smoke…
Proving the old adage that it takes one to know one, reformed psychotic Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) deduced that Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was the firebug who tried to burn Ciara (Victoria Konefal) alive in that cabin fire all those months ago.

When he broached the subject with his lady love she refused to consider the possibility that her niece could have tried to kill her.

Later, a hypnosis session with Marlena (Deidre Hall) left Ben feeling even more dejected as he still couldn’t recall anything relevant from the day of the arson attack.

Dark Days
The side effects of Rolf’s memory drug continued to adversely affect Will (Chandler Massey) who totally forgot his relationship with Alice and Tom and later blew up at Hope (Kristian Alfonso) for seeing Ted (Gilles Marini).
