When he’s not busy portraying Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless, actor Conner Floyd puts his skills to use in other roles. Now, he’s issued a challenge with a sweet payoff you won’t be able to refuse.
It’s Worth $20
Floyd recently took to Instagram, sharing a post with a handsome photo of himself, with “The Actor” written on it. The next slide featured a montage of Floyd as different characters he’s portrayed with “The Characters” written on it. The caption read, “I’ll give you 20 bucks if you can name ‘em all.”
In the center of the second image was Floyd as Chance, which, of course, Y&R fans will instantly recognize. The others, though, may be less familiar to the soap viewers.
College football Hall of Famer James Flanders chimed in early, though, and he appeared to get every character correct. “Dr. Halton (coming soon), Blake, Marcus, James, Philip Chance, Jake Winters, Brett, Lewis, Scott, Garner [SIC], Jack Hendrix, Steven Adler,” He wrote. “I need my $20 😂”
Floyd replied to his friend, and it appeared as if he intended to Venmo Flanders the cash. “[James Flanders] hit me with that Venmo hahah,” he wrote.

In the upcoming film River of Ghosts, Floyd portrays Dr. Halton. He stars as Blake in the 2023 thriller She Inherited Danger. He is Marcus in 2023’s action movie The Last Deal. In 2022, Floyd became James in Stolen in Her Sleep. The same year, he brought Jake Winters to life in If These Walls Could Talk.
2021 brought the role of Brett in the TV movie Malicious Motives and Lewis in the film Melody. In 2020, Nowhere Alaska saw Floyd as Scott, while he also became Garrett in the short Scanner.
Finally, 2019 saw Floyd as Jack Hendrix in the short film Closer to God and Steven Alder in The Master of Pulpits.
It’s unclear if Floyd’s offer still stands since people already named them all, but it sure is fun to figure out where else you can see this talented Y&R star on the silver and small screens. Have you watched Floyd in any of these films or TV shows?
