Sharon has romantic feelings for Nick again. She acted like a giddy schoolgirl during their dinner date on The Young and the Restless. However, she could be getting mixed signals from Nick.
A Shick Reunion
Sharon (Sharon Case) prepared for her date with Nick (Joshua Morrow). She wore a beautiful salmon-colored one-shoulder dress with jewelry that Nick gave her. Even Sharon’s daughter Faith (Reylynn Caster) was confused by her mom’s outfit. Sharon excitedly told her that she was having dinner with her father.
This made Faith think her parents could get back together, and she was excited about the idea. Faith wasn’t the only one who was surprised. Nick was also shocked to see Sharon so dressed up for their date. He wore a plaid flannel shirt with jeans.
Sharon might’ve gotten the wrong impression about their dinner date. She claimed that she has a new lease on life. She’s just going to dress up whenever she feels like it.
All In Her Head?
The therapist claims she’s in a better headspace these days. That remains to be seen. Sharon is at the center of a murder investigation. (Should Sharon Fear Chance?) Also, she’s been hearing Cameron’s (Linden Ashby) voice inside her head.
Her mental health hasn’t allowed her to grasp reality. As a result, Sharon could be getting mixed signals from Nick’s kindness. He’s been concerned about her well-being, and Sharon has mistaken it for a romantic connection. She’s been fantasizing about kissing and making love to him.
This could suggest that Sharon will become obsessed with Nick. At this point, he has no other interest in her other than as a co-parent and finding out her mental state. Her schoolgirl crush could get shattered. Nick didn’t invite her out on a dinner date as she had anticipated.
He just wanted to read her disposition. Nick could pick up on signs that something’s still wrong with Sharon. Nick feels bad for Sharon and wants to find out what’s causing her mental health to fail. Will this cause Sharon to face reality with Heather’s (Vail Bloom) murder and Nick’s true intentions?
