On a recent episode of The Young and the Restless, Sally shared silly jokes and stories with Billy. The two have grown closer together since their respective partners cheated on them. During their conversation, Sally gave a shout-out to LA’s ‘It’ girl, Steffy Forrester from The Bold and the Beautiful

What Was the Cake Fight?

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) have leaned on each other for moral support. During the Monday, November 4th episode, they exchanged bad jokes at the park. Billy shared a lighthearted story from when he was a gambling addict. He asked Sally if she had any crazy stories.

Sally’s journey began in Los Angeles when she worked at Forrester Creations on B&B. Determined to reboot Spectra Fashions into a successful brand, she staged a food fight with Steffy and filmed it on social media.

Thomas (then Pierson Fodé) loved the raucous event because someone finally stuck it to his bratty sister. He sided with Sally’s decision to shake up the socialite. However, Sally was so upset that he decided to silence her with a kiss. This led to the start of their relationship.

After that event, Sally noticed an uptick in followers. She also caused a war with Steffy. When Steffy crashed Nicole’s (Reign Edwards) and Zende’s (Rome Flynn) wedding, she pushed a cake into Sally’s face.

All Grown Up

Steffy and Sally could never see eye-to-eye. They were both ruthless and powerful women with more in common than they’d like to admit. Still, it was nice to see Sally give a shout-out to her former digs. She’s grown so much that she’s able to laugh at herself.

This shows how much she’s changed over the years. Sally doesn’t even want to fight with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) over Adam (Mark Grossman). She understands that the two share a past because of their son, Connor (Joshua MacKey). She can see why they had that passionate night, even if it broke her heart.
