Things are about to get dark on The Young and the Restless. There’s something gravely wrong with Sharon. Nick and Mariah want her to get her help before things worsen. But some of her kids are missing from the picture. Noah needs to come back into the fold.
Sharon Spiraling
Sharon (Sharon Case) finally has a storyline of her own. Unfortunately, it’s not the kind of story that fans hoped for. They wanted to see her step into her next role as girl boss. Instead, Sharon has been struggling with bipolar disorder ever since her meds changed.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is concerned about his ex-wife and the mother of his children. He’s asked Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Faith (Reylynn Caster) to help him out. However, there’s someone else who should be included.
Noah (Rory Gibson) has disappeared from Genoa City and ended up somewhere between Telluride and Paris. (Find out what happened to Sharon’s son.) Noah is the only child who can help Sharon and is the only one of Sharon’s living children who knows Cassie (Camryn Grimes).
Noah understands the effects of losing a sibling and the hurt it caused his family. He could help Sharon process her grief during this time. It would be ridiculous not to have this character on screen for this integral storyline.
Shake Up Audra Charles
There’s another reason Noah should return to Genoa City. He was once involved with Audra (Zuleyka Silver). She was pining over him when she first popped up in Genoa City. She also mourned the child that she lost during their long-term relationship. Her heartbreak caused her to see love and sex differently.
Audra possibly hasn’t healed from their relationship. She jumped from man to man, unwilling to commit. Seeing Noah back in town would force her to accept her past. Maybe Noah could help Audra heal or allow her to move on with Nate (Sean Dominic). Noah’s appearance could also help Y&R viewers Audra and her hangups with men.
