We’ll give Phyllis one thing on The Young and the Restless. She never quits…even when she should…even when she’s begged. These days, there are three things Phyllis refuses to quit: Believing that she is the biggest victim ever to hit Genoa City, that Danny is still in love with her, and that Nick would be too if Phyllis just told him to be. Is she right? Recently Phyllis and Nick ended up together for the first time in months, which made us wonder, is Phick a possibility?
Forever and a Day
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tricked Danny (Michael Damian) into marrying her once. Sure, she could probably do it again. After all, Danny is not making great choices, and Christine (Lauralee Bell) looks to be sick of the back and forth. She wants nothing to do with Danny as long as he is still even vaguely connected to Phyllis, which is exactly what Phyllis is counting on.
Summer Days
Phyllis knows that Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and she were not only great together but that, together, they created the greatest creature possible: Summer (Allison Lanier). How could Nick turn his back on a union that proved so successful? All Phyllis has to do is remind him of what a great team they were, and he’ll be signing on for another go-around in no time.
It Takes Two
But what Phyllis fails to understand is that if Nick goes back to any ex, it won’t be her. It’ll be Sharon (Sharon Case). Why? Because that’s just what he always does. When Nick’s life gets a little dull, Nick looks around and tries to remember the last time he was happy, and the answer always comes back…Sharon. Not Phyllis. Sharon.
We agree that Nick has a tough time letting go of the past. But it’s Nick’s past with Sharon. Not Phyllis. Sharon. Phyllis and Nick are a non-starter because Nick and Sharon will always be endgame. Maybe knowing that is what makes Phyllis believe she’s the biggest victim ever to hit Genoa City.
