The ratings for the week ending March 5 are in! Soap Hub has the scoop on how The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless performed.
Soap Opera Ratings Report
In the overall numbers, YR came in first with a 2.25. BB was second with 1.93. GH was third with 1.58 and DAYS came in fourth with 1.18. Each rating point equals 1.210 million viewers. So, YR had 2.72 million viewers. BB scored 2.34 million viewers. GH had 1.9 million folks tuning in. And DAYS had 1.43 million viewers.
In the coveted demographic of Women aged 18-49, YR was the top drama with a .43; BB was close behind with a .41; GH had a .35; DAYS had a .29 rating.
The Young and the Restless
What stories were drawing in viewers last week? On YR, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) dropped some not-so-subtle hints to Lily (Christel Khalil) that a future with Billy (Jason Thompson) would be problematic. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) decided that her parents, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case), were right and that she should name her bullies. Also, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) took issue with Jack’s (Peter Bergman) developing relationship with Sally (Courtney Hope).
The Bold and the Beautiful
Over on BB, Zende (Delon de Metz) entertained Paris (Diamond White) at the Forrester mansion. Katie (Heather Tom) and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) extended a warm hand to Flo (Katrina Bowden), their niece, and even Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) budged a little when it came to giving Flo another chance.
General Hospital
The drama heated up on GH when Gregory (Gregory Harrison) discovered that his son, Finn (Michael Easton), and his estranged wife Jackie (Demi Moore) had once been involved. Michael (Chad Duell) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) to take a big step back after she mishandled a visit with her grandson Wiley (Erik and Theo Olson). After the double-wedding double-fiasco, Franco (Roger Howarth) knocked Peter (Wes Ramsey) unconscious.
Days of our Lives
Finally, on DAYS, Paulina (Jackée Harry), Lani’s (Sal Stowers) aunt, arrived in Salem. Belle (Martha Madison) was stunned to discover that Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) fingerprints were on the gun that killed Charlie (Mike Manning). Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), continued her masquerade as Susan.
