On Y&R, Mishkind steps into the role of Johnny. Billy’s (Joshua Thompson) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) son experienced many highs and lows in Genoa City. He eventually came around to the shocking news of his sister Claire (Hayley Erin) being alive.
Johnny also got to be a kid and have fun for Halloween. He dressed up as a punk rocker. Mishkind took fans behind the scenes at his character’s transformation. He was excited because he likes to rock out on stage while he’s not filming the soap.
Dressing up like a punk rocker was a dream come true. Mishkind sat in the stylist’s chair as the hair and makeup team worked on him. The hairstylist gelled his hair so it would mold into a mohawk. Say goodbye to squeaky-clean Johnny and hello to his punk rock alter-ego.
Mishkind wore a studded motorcycle jacket. He also wore pants with red plaid on one leg and black on the other, featuring zippers and buckles. Mishkind finished off his costume with tall black boots.
But that’s not all. He also had a tiny black skull tattoo on his right cheek. He set the video to the song “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads. (See These Soap Stars Go All Out For Halloween.)
“BTS becoming a #punkrocker with the amazingly talented @justinjacksonhair! HAPPY HALLOWEEN ☠,” Mishkind captioned his post.
Y&R fans were stunned at his transformation. One fan wrote, “Slayed!” while a Canadian user commented, “You rocked it. 👍👏🇨🇦” The official Young and the Restless Instagram account shared its approval with the message, “So good. 👏”
