The Young and the Restless alum Mishael Morgan was in the mood for love. So, she invited fans into her kitchen to bake up sweet treats. Morgan also recalled an embarrassing moment that happened to her on the set of the CBS soap.
In The Kitchen
Morgan posted a new Reel on Instagram. She wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day by baking sweet treats that her little Valentines would love. Morgan gave Y&R fans the full recipe for her “Healthy Valentine’s Coconut Cookies.” The soap stunner also shared a sweet story that will make you smile.
She recalled an embarrassing moment involving the holiday. Morgan thought that Valentine’s Day was pronounced as “ValenTIMES Day” because that’s how her dad would say it. This led to an embarrassing moment on the set of Y&R when she had to mention Valentine’s Day. The producers immediately corrected her.
“But anyways, I’m all about love, so we’re gonna make some healthy cookies for my kids for Valentine’s Day,” Morgan added. She still has the habit of calling it Valentimes Day. The soap star started baking in her beautiful kitchen.
Romance In The Afternoon
Morgan also shared a romantic story. She recalled a time when her husband surprised her with a trip to Hawaii, which he announced on the day of. It happened during her baby moon and on Valentine’s Day. She still struggled to pronounce the holiday.
Meanwhile, Y&R fans took to the comment section to react. Some could relate. One fan said they wouldn’t have “noticed a difference if you didn’t point it out.” Another user agreed, “It’s a hard habit to break when you’ve heard it one way.” A third fan noted that the pronunciation was associated with Morgan’s cultural roots.
“That’s the Trinj in you. All Caribbean’s say Valentime lol, ❤️” they wrote. Morgan responded, “thank you for feeding into my delulu. 🤣😂lol, I think it is right?” That fan wrote back, “it’s not delulu it’s facts! In The West Indies, it’s Valen-Times! End of story. 😂”
